Teachers don't always know every detail about a project that they are going to have their students do, so there are a number of resources like AOL@School.com and Britannica Online Encyclopedia that teachers AND students can go to for more information about a particular topic.
Students can also use AOL@School.com for studying various subject areas and learning good study habits. There are websites that I have listed under this category that have spelling lists that students can use in their writing or if there are words that students are unsure of how to pronounce; these sites will pronounce the word for them. I have also included Merriam-Webster Dictionary for times when students or teachers don't know what a word means or how to use a word in the correct context.
This category has references that students and teachers can use easily. These particular sites are also very simple to use in structure. Kids will not be confused about how to use these references, especially if they are at all in tune with the technology of the time.
