I really think that the Kidpiration/Inspiration Software could be very useful in the classroom. Students have the freedom to create very unique, individualistic, projects and can have a lot of fun doing it. The software is easy for students to work with because of its simplicity. In a lot of ways this program reminded me of the Paint program that is a sub-tool of Microsoft Word. There are also a lot of pictures and colrs for students to choose that will create a more colorful and fun project. I believe that students sometimes do better when they are given choices, especially when it is to show who they are through their work. That is why I think that with practice in learning all of the neat things this simple program can do, you can create detailed projects that are associated to a specific lesson.
I began playing with the options Kidspiration provides, and created a document that shows a few reasons why I have chosen to become a teacher. Why I Want to be a Teacher (Kidspiration)
I have also created an example of a simple project that a student could create with Kidspiration. My Favorites (Kidspiration) .
If you are unable to access these projects from this blog; I have also added them to "My Creations" on the right-hand side of my Blog.
